here's a fun game to play while driving on the highway to avoid a boredom-related accident.
put your car on cruise control and see how far you can drive without touching the brakes or gas. the faster you go the harder it is, obviously. i played yesterday at 74mph and went for 45 miles, on just a 2-lane highway, too. i think that's pretty impressive, but i'm sure the record is much higher than that.

Third of all. (Does that even make sense, possible future blog post) I played this game when i drove across country. I had controls on the steering wheel though. I think I made it from Cheyenne, WY to Wichita, KS.
i checked on mapquest and it's 610 miles from cheyenne to wichita, which obliterates my record. but there's probably no one on the roads out there, so a different set of rules and records should apply for different regions.
our maine trip will happen soon, i was thinking the weekend of sept. 30-oct. 1. or if i can get a friday off someday we can coordinate that. that gift shop looks fantastic.
p.s. should i be posting this response on your blog? if i did it would have nothing to do with the post i was replying to. but by posting it here there's no guarantee that you will even read it, and i'm probably just boring everyone who clicked on this. i wonder what the proper blog etiquette is...
